By using this website to book a service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Agreement"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or book services.
Scrub Masters acts as a referral agency, connecting clients with independent domestic workers who provide cleaning services. These service providers are not employees of Scrub Masters but independent contractors.
🔹 Client Responsibility: If you direct and control a service provider's work, you may be legally responsible for employer obligations such as payroll taxes and workers' compensation.
Booking a service does not guarantee availability for your selected date and time. A Scrub Masters representative will confirm your appointment via phone, email, or text.
Arrival Window: Cleaners will arrive within a 1-2 hour window due to factors like traffic and prior appointments.
Customer Presence: Clients must be present at the location unless prior arrangements are made (e.g., providing a security code or key).
Payments must be made by credit or debit card through our online portal or over the phone.
A hold may be placed on your card 24 hours before service to verify available funds.
Your card will only be charged after service is completed.
🔹 Recurring Discounts:
Discounts apply after the first cleaning for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly plans.
If you skip cleanings and reduce frequency, your rate will be adjusted accordingly.
24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule without fees.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) result in a 50% charge of the service fee.
Lockout Fee: If our team cannot access the property and cannot reach you within 30 minutes, you will be charged the full service fee.
For safety and efficiency, our cleaners:
❌ Cannot clean hazardous materials (e.g., mold, blood, urine, feces, hoarding situations).
❌ Cannot move heavy furniture (over 35 lbs).
❌ Cannot climb higher than a step stool.
❌ Do not provide deep stain removal or restoration services.
🔹 If additional services (e.g., oven cleaning, blinds, dishwashing) are needed, please request them before booking to ensure availability.
We are happy to work around pets, but aggressive or anxious pets must be secured during cleaning.
If a cleaner feels unsafe due to a pet, they may leave, and the cancellation fee will apply.
Clients may provide keys or access codes for unattended cleanings but do so at their own discretion.
Scrub Masters is not liable for normal wear and tear or pre-existing damage.
Customers must report any damage within 24 hours of service for claims to be valid.
Scrub Masters' cleaners are insured for accidental damage caused during cleaning.
By booking with Scrub Masters, you agree not to directly hire any cleaner referred by us for private services outside of Scrub Masters for one year after their last service with you. Violating this policy may result in legal action.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts within California.
Scrub Masters reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
